We also worked together as a team to solve a problem, ensuring each had a chance to share their ideas and we revised our thinking to achieve the goal. It

We've also started looking at our theme topic, which is focused on the Tudors. We know that during their reign England went through a cultural and religious transformation and want to know how Henry VIII's decisions during his reign led to that impact.

Any history topic always begins with some work on timelines and understanding where the period chronologically fits in with other topics studied. 


 

 

 
Here we are placing famous events on our timelines. We also have started to think about how the Tudors came to power and looked at the battle of Bosworth which began the Tudor reign. We looked at 
 

 
We looked at the mystery of the princes in tower and even how Richard III's remains were eventually rediscovered in a carpark in Leicester, which leads us nicely onto our workshop next week, where we'll be fortunate enough to have a local archaeology group come in and dig up a section of the school playing field to see if any undiscovered finds have been under our feet for hundreds of years. 

Who knows what we'll find.
