Electricity and circuits

14 Mar 2025

We've moved onto science this week and we've been revising the symbols used to show components in electrical circuits. The class have had great fun in testing out all those components in circuits, testing light bulbs, buzzers and motors.

So imagine the fun when we realised that the higher the voltage, the higher the output of the component. We tested the effect on the brightness of bulbs or noise of buzzers on different voltage sizes.

Mrs Moss is looking forward to taking over for the next three weeks while I'm away and I look forward to hearing all about their discoveries and work once I'm back after Easter.
