Goodbye Year 6 ;-(

24 Jul 2023

Once again the time has come around to wish our year 6 a warm farewell with pride and fondness knowing how hard they've worked and the capable young people they've become.

Last week, we went to Ripley Castle to enjoy a day together on their lake. We learnt how to paddleboard and took part in some zorbing fun.

We of course had lots of fun and enjoyed the time together as a class.

We stopped by the Ripley Ice-cream shop too while we enjoyed our lunch break.

And the perfect thing to do after eating ice-cream and having lunch, is then to wear hot zorbs and charge at one another...
No teacherly respect was shown as I was barged and bashed around the court; nor to oneanother either as the aim was to knock each other off their feet, which we all had great fun in doing.

Of course, on Wednesday and Thursday, came the production we've all been waiting for! And what a production it was! It was so lovely to hear the feedback class 4 got; it seems everybody enjoyed the show and were amazed by the juniors' talents. You certainly impressed us all with your ability to own the lines you spoke and work together to produce an amazing show.

And here we are, at the end of the summer term and for year 6 their final week, but you can leave feeling accomplished and safe in the knowledge that you will be incredible no matter which direction you take. Good luck to you all in your future endeavours and have a fantastic summer.

Mr Breckon
