Good morning class 4 laugh

I hope you had a lovely weekend. Did you get up to anything exciting? I had an exciting weekend; I became an uncle for the first time surprise. Please send in any pictures of anything exciting which happened. It's nice to share positive messages smiley. Lockdown certainly doesn't stop Richard from going about his daily duties. What is that dog doing riding on the back? Does he always ride around with you like that?

Second picture - Wow, that's pretty dark, I  hope you don't get lost tearing around Nidderdale on that bike; you don't want to be sleeping with lambs.

Here's the time table for today

Teams call at 9:30am

P.E at 9am (or follow it on catch up)
Reading
Maths
English
Art

Baby quiz
So who's today's baby? Make your guess on the assignments.

Geography Quiz

Last week you had to search for Chile. Today I'd like you to find Oman and colour it in a different colour and add it to your key.
Your Dojo challenge is to find out where this world-famous location is and what it's called.

Reading

Keep up with your AR reading - you're doing great! So many of you are already half way to your target and 3 of you have met it! Take the AR quiz https://ukhosted116.renlearn.co.uk/2245402/

Afterwards listen to the next chapter of the Nowhere Emporium

Maths

Let's begin our maths session with a 10 minute stint on Timestable rockstars to keep those times tables fresh.
https://play.ttrockstars.com/

For the activity I will mostly explain in our TEAMs call but for group 2 it's page 8, and it's the first puzzle with a blue boarder called 'Missing the point'. You've to work out where the decimal goes within each number to produce a squared number.

Group 1 - You have a magic square; it says MAGIC MONEY. All the rows and columns add up to £7.50

English

All of last week, we started gathering information on pandas ready to begin our report. Last Friday we looked at selecting facts to begin to write our own report and the lesson focused on writing with an introduction.

Today's lesson will be guiding you through writing your introduction. I would like you to write JUST your introduction today and I'm really looking forward to reading these so please save them in your files so I can check later tonight. Afternoon

Art

We're continuing with water colours. Today we're going to try and create a simple sky scene like this image below

To help reach this, download my powerpoint and listen to each voice clip.
