We had some visitors in on Tuesday to share some of the concerns presented by climate change and ways in which we can all do something to reduce the impact we add to our carbon footprint. We also wrote some acrostic poems to share awareness and motivate others to take action. Congratulations go to Oliver and Megan on receiving an award for their poems. This week was also art week so we have been studying Linda Mellin's works; she's a local artist, who paints Yorkshire towns by taking all the well-known buildings of the area and adding them to a fun-themed landscape design.
We'll need another go after the half term, when the paint's dry to add some finishing touches to our landscapes but they're looking great, with a range of colours to indicate depth and size variation to give perspective Have a well-earnt week off class 4 and see you in a week
