Holiday Brochures and DT

Year 6 attended a special service held at Ripon Cathedral to mark their new steps into secondary school. It was a service of thanks, hopes and aspirations for the future. We're very proud of our year 6 and the fine young students they've grown into.

We've made progress on our DT projects and they're nearly ready for judging - we themed our designs on Whitby (hence the many Dracula, ghost-themed scenes) and some are really starting to look the part

And in English, we've been producing holiday brochures to persuade, meaning we need to select eye-catching images, caption it with appealing imagery and give informative information about their chosen destination

Next week, we have a busy week and please don't forget to sign those consent forms for our trip to the Cathedral on Tuesday and for the year 6 leaver's treat to Ripley Castle on Wednesday (including the transportation form)
