Plastic not-so-fantastic
10 Nov 2023
300,000,000 tonnes of plastic is made annually. That's a figure that shocked us and even worse that knowing that 40% of it is only used the once before being committed to an eternity of being buried underground. To help us visualise the scale of it, class 4 had experienced what's it's like to live in an environment covered in our plastic waste.
The result of this much plastic pollution is effecting our oceans and the marine life within it. We're currently researching all about this problem with the aim of producing an informative non-chronological report.

We've been learning about prime numbers and factors this week too (in amongst the plastic rubbish). to help embed them, we played some memory games to quickly identify the primes.
