Electronic games

24 Mar 2023

We've been working on reflection and translation of shapes this week, using quadrants to carefully plot our shapes. We've been investigating how shapes appear opposite when reflected and how solving problems using known co-ordinates to work out their new location after being translated.

We have also been using our electricity knowledge to apply to games which use it. We wanted to create actual working circuits to make a steady-hand game. We researched boardgames which use electricity to decide what was successful about them and developed a success criteria for our own.

We first designed and planned our boards

Once planned we set about making them, using drills, G-clamps and many other tools to create them.

We look forward to evaluating them before these noisy buzzer games will descend on a home near you wink
