We've been finishing off some work on percentages in maths and looking at ways to break down percentage calculations. If you know how to find 1 and 10 percent, then we can find any. Here we are applying those facts to complete a crossword. We've been very lucky this week to have had so many opportunities, all provided to use for free by the kindness of others. Firstly we got to experience some archery and fencing activities. Then we had a whole team of volunteers from Bethel Church in Ripon come in to explain and act out scenes from the teachings of the Bible and finally we had an author travel over to share his works on story writing and his latest book.
Our RE workshop where we listened to tales from the Bible, reinacted some, took a quiz and even were provided with juice and biscuits inbetween.
