Firstly, let's begin with the important stuff... The sports day teachers' race. Thankfully this moment was captured - I think this now counts that I won fair and square, right? Currently trying to upgrade to an open top 'victory' bus to transport us to East Barnby on Monday.
As side from sports day, we have been deepening our understanding of why living things evolve to suit their environment so we went pond dipping to see what dwells within and then also at a nearby stream. We learnt how animals in the stream are more streamlined and have adapted ways in order to grip onto vegetation in order to not be swept away. It was incredibly hot down there but we all had a lovely time - thank you to Canals and Rivers Trust for providing us with their expertease and equipment
