Pulleys and forces

We've been looking at forces in our science and have linked this to DT. We've looked at some ways in which pulleys can be used to ease the load and lift large weights. We then designed our own and chose one to make. 

It's not been easy but we've learnt a lot about how to piece together the parts needed in order to make the pulleys move. 

Some of us have been using junior hacksaws and G clamps to drill holes and curt axels to size. 
Here's a few behind-the-scenes shots before we'll hopefully reveal the finished pieces next week
