Have a look at the below link. There are lots of ideas for different PE type activities that you could do at home; give one a go! There's a link to Joe Wicks or our Real PE units

Maths
We're continuing with subtraction. But first I would like us to log onto to TTrockstars for 10 minutes and keep our tables knowledge fresh and speedy https://ttrockstars.com/
If you found yesterday's maths tricky, then I'd like you to continue on the same page (19) today and finish it off. See my video on yesterday's page for support.
If you found it manageable + group two then I'd like you to try page 20. I want you to do the bit at the bottom which says 'Take away'.
What you need to do is arrange the numbers 1 - 9 (only use each digit once) in each of those circles. It is possible to do but it's trial and error - in other words, you wont be able to get it straight away and will have to think about it and rearrange your numbers and think about how you can make answers change.

Wahoo - I got it on my third try - To help me, I tried to place the large numbers in first as I seemed to keep getting stuck with unusable numbers. Then I just had to swap one pair around so I'd have to exchange and reduce the next column by one and then they all fitted in.
I am sure there's more than one answer.
If you succeed then send in your solution and I'll post it up here.
Remember, it's not about how fast you do it but how you look at the digits and spot slight moves you can do to make it doable.
You may find it easier using cut out numbers or on a whiteboard.
Good luck!
Update - Mrs Breckon tried and got an answer too - different to mine but it worked, so there are at least two ways but I think they'll be more.
English
First, copy out those spellings.
Yesterday we looked at what a kenning is. Look at this picture for a reminder
It's usually 2 words (or maybe three if you use a determiner too) and it always ends in a verb, usually ending in 'er'.
Our task today is to write our own.
For this you'll need to think of a noun. It can be an everyday object, place or animal etc.
Then you'll need to really think what this noun does, sounds like, is used for etc.
I'd draw a spider diagram with lots of ideas coming from your noun.
If I was going to give clues to a magpie, I'd first think about what makes it unique; here are my thoughts.
It steals things, it flies, it's black and white, it squawks loudly, loves bird seed, likes shiny thing, sits in trees, it's considered lucky.
Then I'd think carefully about the verbs which would go with those and begin some clues.
Sneaky robber
sky flier
Newcastle-FC lover
Loud squawker
bird-seed eater
jewellery stealer
nest builder
Tree watcher
Luck bringer
Do you think you'd have got that? Perhaps try it on your parents.
Now I'd like you to think of your own (at least 7 - 8 lines long). Don't make it too obvious and think carefully about those verbs, try to think about how it does the actions and try to avoid repeating the same verb.
Send them in to me via my e-mail or purple mash and I'll make a document for us all to read tomorrow.
Don't forget to send the answer along with it.

Arts/Crafts
If you did start your papiermache planet yesterday then spend some more time completing that. It will have needed a long time to dry. Maybe now you could paint it. Look online for pictures of the planet you're doing and keep yours similiar.
Send some images in to me if you managed to complete it.
