Fire Service Visit

This week we had a very exciting visit from the Ripon fire service! They came in to talk about fire safety and staying safe at home. We learned all about how important smoke alarms are and that we should test them every week. We also learned what to do if there was a fire and how to make sure that we all got out safely.
After the talk they then let us look at the equipment they used! As you can see from the pictures the children loved looking at all of the items and getting to try them. At the end they even set the blue lights and sirens off for us!
The visit was a great reminder of some of the work we have done before about how to keep ourselves safe at home, and your homework this week will be thinking about dangers around us and how to keep ourselves safe.
