Cave paintings.


This week we have been working very hard on our stone age topic and we have studied and then drawn some amazing cave paintings. 

On Wednesday the class had a brilliant afternoon with Miss Blake thinking about how our class is like a tribe and how we could make sure our tribe is happy and looks out for everyone. The class then drew some great cave painting inspired cartoons to show what we could do to help everyone, and we have used these to decorate our very own cave in the cloakroom! I'm sure you'll agree the pictures all look amazing.

Want to do more?

Maybe you could use the internet with a grown up to see if you can find some more cave paintings. I wonder what sort of animals they drew? Some of the animals in the pictures are extict now, I wonder if you can find any pictures of these animals.
