Another busy week!

28 Jan 2022

Hello again, Class 3. smiley

Well done on another busy week and for putting so much effort into your lessons. What a group of hard-working superstars you are!

Our topic for maths this week has been problem solving and working out how to use all of our maths skills to solve some very tricky questions.

There has been some great team-work going on in class to crack the questions. I think they have solved it, well done!!!

Sometimes the best way to work things out is by drawing the problem to find out exactly what it means. Using blocks is a great idea too and really helped us to visualise the problems.

For our English we have started to write our own myths based on the story of Beowulf, the fierce warrior. The children have really enjoyed coming up with ideas about what to write and I've loved reading all of the tales this week, even if they have been a bit scary! I've been really proud of the effort they have made with their writing and they have thought up some amazing ideas.
