This week we have continued to look at forces and magnets and we used all of our knowledge to help us create some magnetic games. We knew that the magnetic force would pass through the card or paper to the paperclip on the other side, and we used this idea to make games where we needed to move the paperclips around.

Some people created racing games where they had to move the paperclip around a track, others made ones where you had to dodge things. The final games looked brilliant and we had lots of fun creating them.

We have also been working on decimals and playing dice games to see who could create the largest or smallest numbers on their place value grids. It really helped us with our number work and we had great fun too.

In our writing we started to look at playscripts. Someone also brought in a real clapper board that was used in an actual film! It was very exciting to look at and we really enjoyed having a go too.
