Water Cycles

01 Jul 2022

It has been yet another busy week for Class 3 and we have been doing lots of fun things again.

In science we have been looking at the water cycle and thinking about how and why it rains. We then drew our own pictures to show the different stages (see below). We have also been looking at what causes the water to evaporate and how we can speed the process up. This involved hanging some wet towels up and measuring the amount of water they lost and seeing if there was a link with the temperature of the room they were in.

We have also been brushing up on our table skills again ahead of our year 4 tables check. When it was time to take the test the children did brilliantly and were amazing!

We hope you all have a great weekend and we will see you again on Monday.
