Jubilee Celebrations

This week the children have had lots of fun celebrating the upcoming jubilee. We have taken part in lots of fun activites and really enjoyed learning all about the coronation of queen Elizabeth II.
The year 4's took part in an amazing recreation of the coronation ceremony itself, and the year 3's had a lovely time watching the events in church. The children all looked amazing and they really brought the ceremony to life.
Afterwards there was a special afternoon tea at school and the children had a great time making the sandwiches. They look very tasty!
The class also had the chance to decorate their own special plate to remember this event and the designs they created were beautiful!
