Crafty children

This week the children have been very crafty, but in a good way.
We have been learning all about the work of Picasso and his paintings and sculptures. The children then had some salt dough to use to work on some of their sculpting techniques and had a great time. We then saw how many of these techniques we could use to create a piece of sculpture. The children did a brilliant job and really enjoyed it - I've never seen such concentration!
We have also been making soap ready for the "Elfridges" event. The children all had a turn at making and then wrapping bar of soaps ready to sell next week. The results were spectacular and I'm sure they'll sell out quickly. A huge thanks to all of the grown-ups who came in to help and provided the equipment - we couldn't have done it without you.
