Visitors and Dens

21 May 2021

This week we have had a couple of visitors to see us. The first was when a little bird decided to join us for our maths lesson! It seemed to have really enjoyed studying fractions with us before flying off to hear us read downstairs too. Don't worry though, it flew out all by itself and was safe and sound in the end.

We also had a visit from some police officers who came in talk to our JRSOs (Junior Roadside Safety Officers) about how we can keep safe on the roads. They gave us lots of advice about how to make the school a safer place and they were really helpful. I think Miss Blake had forgotten the police were coming in and they caught her by surprise! When they rang the doorbell she disappeared very quickly muttering something about car tax... wink

We have also been working very hard on our writing this week on a secret project we are going to pass on to Mrs Acheson. We have been going over our work and editing it to make it as good as we can. Fingers crossed she agrees to our ideas and that we manage to persuade her to give in to our demands!

Finally we have been getting creative and we have re-vamped our reading area. We love reading in Class 3 and we have made ourselves a cosy little reading den. It has been lovely to sit in our den and read a book while listening to the rain on the windows.
