Amazing Maths

In our maths this week we have been looking at division and exploring ways of dividing different numbers.
The children used different types of manipulatives to help them get the answers and they picked it up really well! They were littles stars and all worked really hard. I was very impressed by the teamwork and the way they helped and encouraged each other too.
We also continued to look at different parts of the world in geography and found some of the main mountain ranges and rivers on each continent. The children loved doing this and they really wanted to find out more about these places. Not sure the school budget can stretch to a field trip to the Andes though!
