Optional Snow Day work.
08 Jan 2025
Hi everyone!
I hope you all had a great holiday and are enjoying the snow!

(Bonus points if you recognise the team colours! And no, it's not Newcastle before you say!!)
Below are some activities for you to try at home while school is closed if you would like. I know that internet connections can be patchy at the best of times so if you can't access any of these don't worry.
Reading
Reading is always a great thing to do so please try and spend some time today with your book. If you have your AR book then you can read that and get a head start on your AR target, if not then find a book you enjoy and read that. It could be about football, machines, animals, a story - it is up to you!
I'm reading a great book at the moment its called "Snakes" by Anna Conda.
Maths
Timestables are really important so it would be really useful to spend some time brushing up on them. Please log in to Rock Star Maths and try some of the game modes on there. Hopefully you have your log ins, but if you can't remember then don't worry. You could also try Numbots if you want.

Topic
Our topic work this term will be based around learning about the different continents and some of the countries they contain. Underneath are some links to some sites that would give you a really useful head start. The quizzes are always lots of fun so see how many you can get right.
