Another week has flown by and the children have all been working really hard again.
In maths we have been looking at place value and making different numbers using equipment. The chilldren picked it up really well and were stars!
In our English lessons, we looked at how to create expanded noun phrases to make our writing more interesting. The children based their work on our book of the week - "Stone Age Boy". They loved writing about what happened next when the heroes found themselves trapped in a cave with a bear! We worked with a partner to help us to think of lots of exciting ideas and the children worked very well together.
