Week 2

Class 3 have been hard at it again and working their socks off this week. We have started our new topic looking at life in the stone age and finding out how humans survived back then. The children were amazed when they realised that so many of the things that we take for granted now wouldn't have been around at that time. Some of them also weren't very keen on having to hunt their own dinner! It is much easier when it arrives on a plate and ready cooked!
We have been looking at place value too, and the children have enjoyed making different numbers and comparing them. It was great fun getting all of the equipment out and using it really helped our understanding.
