Maths dominoes

On Fridays Mr Scott takes over in Class 3 and teaches the children. Over the last few weeks they have been learning all about 3-d shapes and their properties, and how to describe the shapes to each other. The children have loved playing dominoes to help them learn and it has been lots of fun.
We have also been looking at plants again in science and thinking about what plants need to help them grow. We put the plants in different places around the school to see how darkness and temperature would affect the plants, as well as thinking about what would happen if we changed the amount of water different plants were given. We will check on them over the next few days and see if any changes occur.
Don't worry , Mrs Acheson, we did let the children out of the dark cupboard eventually!
