Last week of half term.

Well done, Class 3! You have made it to the holidays! I have been really proud of how hard you have all worked in the last few weeks, and how much effort you have put into all of your lessons.
This week we have been finishing off our history topic looking at what life was like at Fountains Abbey during the reign of Henry VIII.
We started off by bringing together all of the things we had discovered over the last few weeks, and started to put our ideas together to create our reports. The children were amazing in their groups and really enjoyed working together on the task.
We decided how we were going to present our information and who our audience would be. The children decided that they would like to do a "Horrible Histories" type book.
The children loved creating their projects and were able to demonstrate everything they had learned in a fun and interesting way.
After all of that hard work we found ten minutes at the end of the day to watch some more of the Horrible History videos and see how they compared to our versions (I think we did better, but I am a bit biased. ;) ).
