Class 3 - Y3/4 Class News

On Monday we went to Fountains school to join them to learn more about ancient Greece. Our teacher for the day was the amazing John Conyard who is a real expert on the subject (he is so good they even ask him to help out on films to make sure they get all of the armour and weapon details right!). 

John told us lots of amazing facts about the ancient Greeks and we got to handle some of the items and even try on bits of armour.

Here are some of the items that we got to see. Some of them are thousands of years old! That is even older than me!

 
 
 
 It was an amazing day and the children learned a huge amount about ancient Greece. A big thank you to those parents who helped with transport too.
