Pupil Voice Day

On Thursday we had a day with a difference - we had our Pupil Voice Day!
It was very exciting. The children were all put in one of four colour teams that would be their new house. They then had to think of a team name and design a logo. We also set up some pupil committees so that the children could help to run different areas of the school and have more say in what we do.
The children were all in mixed aged groups and it was lovely to see how well everyone worked together, and how well they all looked after each other too. The children really enjoyed the day and they can't wait to get their designs made up into banners to put up in school.

We also set up a reading mentor scheme where some of the older children read to the younger children.
