Colour run and end of the year!

This year seems to have flown by and it has gone so fast! I can't believe it is time for the holidays already.
We finished the year in style though with an amazing colour run to go with our Pride month celebrations. The children loved the event and really enjoyed running around the course and getting covered in paint. We recorded an amazing song as part of our celebrations too (a link should be on our website soon). Thank you so much to all of the grown-ups who helped with the run and the recording of the song, you helped to make it really special for the children.

Miss Blake also kept our theme of equality going and brought her racing car in to show that you shouldn't be afraid to try new things, and that you shouldn't listen when people say that you can't do something just because of your gender. The children loved hearing about Miss Blake's races and looking at her amazing trophy collection.
We have also had to say goodbye to one of our class this week as they are moving on to a new school. We said a special goodbye to them and wished them good luck for the future. We will really miss them and our class won't be the same in September.
