Countryside Day

On Tuesday we went to Harrogate Show Ground to take part in the Countryside Live day. It was a great opportunity for the children to take part in all sorts of workshops to learn all about rural crafts and ways of life. The children loved the different activities and they had the chance to do everything from making their own ropes and building bases to watching sheep herding (and of course the amazing dancing sheep!).
It was a brilliant day and we all had lots of fun in the sushine, as well as learning lots too.
Don't forget we will be out again on Monday when we go to Fountains abbey. There will be lots of walking so please wear comfy shoes and bring lots of water too.
