Ancient Jigsaws

08 Oct 2021

This week we finally managed to answer a question that had confused us since we started our ancient Greece topic - how do we actually know what happened in ancient Greek times? Some very clever people worked out that some pieces of pottery might have survived and that if they had pictures on then they might help us. In our lesson we had to piece together some broken pots and uses our investigation skills to try and see what we could find out about the Olympics. We were amazed to find out that many of the events are still taking place in the modern Olympics, although we didn't find any evidence of ancient Greek BMX racing . wink
