Well done to our star readers so far this week!
Congratulations to: Tillie, Annabelle, Hugo, Ben, Molly, Luke, Tom-Henry and Ethan.
Note for Friday - unfortunately I'll have to move our Friday Teams call forward to 9:30 for Yr 3 and 9:45 for yr 4 . I realise this clashes with some of the other calls - sorry! If you can't make the new time on Friday though don't worry, I'll see you on Monday.
To begin please play your five games of RockStar maths the same as usual.
I have set up a battle for today between the yr 3s and 4 yr 4s. Good luck!
To design a healthy snack (thenational.academy)
After you have watched the video please design your own healthy and tasty snack - yum!
You will need to think about who it is for, what ingredients you will include, what it will look like and so on. You could even have a go at designing the packaging for it too.
Don't forget to re-watch the video if you get stuck, it has lots of ideas in there that you can use.
Reading
Don't forget to do your 30 minutes of reading today.

World Book Day activities
World Book Day is tomorrow but there are a few activities below for you to have a go at today. There is a range of things for you to do below so have a look through and see which ones you want to work on.
My favourite one is the scavenger hunt. I can't believe I lost against my little boy because I couldn't find a teddy bear (this sounds weird but when you read it you will understand!).
There are some drawing, some that are competitions you can take place in against someone in your family (or even over Zoom or Facetime if you wanted), and some are things for you to make.
For this one you can design your own book cover for your favourite book. You'll need to think about the plot and the characters and then draw a cover that shows how exciting the story is.

In school we have made books a few times and you have often wondered how we put them together. Here you get to find out and make your very own book! It can be about anything, your favourite animal, favourite football team, a story. It is up to you.
-Make a book.pdf-
I really enjoyed this one. You will need a whole range of books though.
-Scavenger hunt.pdf-
This is a version of a game you might have played before. It is lots of fun and really gets you talking about the characters and the book they are in.

PE
Today we are going to have another go at our "Ninja Warrior" challenge and see if we can get our time even quicker.
All the instructions you will need are on the link below.
You don't have to put your time in yet though, just have some practise and see how quick you can get. The final deadline is the 11th March so take you time to get as quick as you can.
You can take part in the daily and weekly challenges too by clicking on the link below.
I hope you had a fun day and I'll see you on our call again.
