Your questions today are a bit different to usual. There are three sheets today, but you only have to do one (unless you want to do more!). The first one is the easiest , the second a bit harder and the last one is the hardest. Have a look through and see which one you think is the right challenge for you (it should make you think and be tricky, but not too hard that you really can't do it). As before, the answers are at the bottom of the sheet.

When you have completed your sheet, please put your answers on the Teams assignment. The answers are at the bottom for you to check too, but please send me your answers before you check them so I can see how well you have done.

Main session

Today for our main part of the lesson we are going to add the next section of our report - the appearance. If you watch the video carefully the man goes into lots of detail about how the creature looks and why it looks the way it does. If you are writing about a wolf instead of just saying "it has big teeth" you could say "it has large, sharp teeth that it uses to catch its prey". If you are doing a tiger then instead of "it has stripes" you could say it has "orange and black stripes that help it to blend in to the background so it can stalk unseen through the jungle when it hunts".

Just like before you don't have to do the anglerfish, but you can if you want. For this you should be continuing to work on the same animal you did last week.

Year 4s - Please send me a picture of your writing so I can see how we have done today. You can send this to mrgamble@gfschools.co.uk

If you would rather write it up in Word and then send it to me you can do that. Some people prefer to type, some to write up by hand.
If you want to add a picture you can do, but please make sure to complete your writing first.

  Forest Schools

Today is our Forest Schools day and our chance to get out for a walk in the afternoon and enjoy the nature that is around us. Some trees are easy to spot and name because of their distictive leaves, but how can you tell what sort of tree you are looking at when it hasn't got any leaves? Today you will find out.
