For your evidence today please complete the maths quiz on Teams. Some of the questions will be from the sheet in a random order, but some will be made up by me as a mini-test. This will help me see how you are getting on.
Please start off with 5 games of Rockstar maths. After that please do a "Sound Check". There may be some tables on there you haven't looked at but it is a great way of seeing how you are getting on.

Challenge
In this lesson, we will explore some additional aspects of suspense writing, including ellipses and exclamation marks. Following shared writing, we will write the first part of our build up. For this lesson, you will need an exercise book or paper and a pencil.
I was amazed by your sentences yesterday, you were super stars!
To write the build-up (Part 1) (thenational.academy)
Check out some of our amazing sentences from yesterday! I can't believe how well you have done, I thought they really were from a Roald Dahl story!
In an instant, the petrified, little child hid nervously under her thin, orange covers.
Immediately the huge dark stranger carefully grasped the green gloomy jar with his gloved hands.
Quiet understandably, the little girl was so frightened she began to shake rapidly.
As black and as silent as the night the spookey figure crouched down and prised open his enormous suitcase.
Sophie was terrified and hid under her covers trying to be still so no one could see her.
Without a sound, the figure quietly opened his mysterious, brown suitcase.
Slowly the figure edged down the eerie street towards Sophie.
All of a sudden the timid, scared child hid beneath her stained, thin bed sheets.
Don't forget to do you half an hour of AR reading. We are really getting through the quizzes now so well done everyone!
