To develop a rich understanding of words associated with meals (thenational.academy)
In the video it gives some wonderful descriptions of different types of food. I would now like you to use these words to create your own perfect meal
You will need to create a meal that has a starter, main course, dessert and a drink too. You will need to describe each item in detail to make it sound amazing.
Maybe your soup is "wholesome and warming" , and is made from "the finest local ingedients". Your main course could be a "sumptuous meal made with mouth-watering vegetables and the best grass fed, local meat". Don't forget to use the video to help you get some great words, and you can always include more dishes if you would like. Maybe your meal will be a seven course luxury banquet.

Forest Schools
It is time for our forest schools again. It is amazing what you can see at this time of year if you look carefully. I saw a frog in a tiny car at the bottom of my garden at the weekend. It looked like his little car had broken down though as it had to "get toad away".
