Work for Tuesday 24th March 2020

23 Mar 2020

Morning everyone.

I hope you enjoyed your PE with Joe Wicks yesterday, my legs are still hurting! Today we will be brave and experiment to see if the online websites
we want to use are working. Fingers crossed! There are links to all of the sites you will need on the "Website links" page on our class section.

Here is the plan for the day.

9- PE with Joe Wicks

When you have recovered and are ready to move on we will do some tables practice with Rockstar Maths. Don't spend all of you time in the shop buying leopard print trousers though! ;) (20 mins)

The next activity for the day will be Wordshark, so please go on that next. (20 mins)

After that please do two Reading Plus activities.
If you are a year 3 you will need to do the test first which takes about 20 minutes. This will select your level for you and unlock your first set of texts to read.

Phew, it has been a busy morning so far and well done for keeping up!

Maths

There should be a sheet called "Written method for addition". Choose a column and then write your answers in your ORANGE book.
A is not too bad, B is a bit harder and if you want more of a challenge go for C. There a lot of questions on there to work through, so try to complete one column, you don't have to do all three.

Remember to set your work out neatly with one digit in each box and please make sure your numbers are lovely and neat.

English

For your last activity could you find your comprehension pack (it is the one with all of the reading sheets and questions in). Please complete the first one in the pack. It should be about either how to look after a dog, or the green cross code. Some of these comprehensions have the answers in, but they are for your grown-ups to help check how you have done, not for you. cheeky

Enjoy the rest of your day,

Mr Gamble
