Visit from Ripon Fire Service

We had some very special vistors in school this week when some firemen came to visit. We had lots of fun looking at the fire engine and some of us were lucky enough to get to try on some of the equipment. The firemen also gave us a fire safety talk and they said they were very impressed with the sensible and well thought out answers we gave. At the end they talked to us about how important it is to make sure that we have working smoke alarms in our houses, and also asked us to think about talking to our grown-ups about what to do if the alarms went off when we were inside.
