Fabulous Fables

For our first English topic of the year we have been studying Aesop's fables. We have looked at a whole range of different ones and we have acted some out too.


 

 
Here we have a very sleepy tortoise and a speedy hare getting ready to race?  Who do you think will win?
You might be surprised! 


We have started to create our own fables now based on what we have read. Below you can see the children starting to create story maps for their fables. We have changed the animals in the story for ones of our own. Can you spot a very fast looking cheetah and a crocodile? I wonder who will win that race?
