Christmas Traditions

RHebblewhite and NTodd - 28 Nov 2019

This week, we have been sharing stories about Christmas traditions in our country and talking about the different ways in which Christians celebrate Jesus' Birthday. The children shared some memories from last Christmas and talked about what they were looking forward to this year: George Fortune told us, "My brother lets me put the star on the top of our Christmas tree!", Henry said that he was looking forward to making Christmas cakes and we all agreed that we would like to practise writing Christmas cards next week to our friends and families!

Also this week the children have been talking about 'emotions' with Mrs Todd. They looked at different facial expressions, talked about what kind of feeling it might show and used our new 'Emotions' duplo to build models. The children talked about what made them feel happy, sad, cross and excited.
