Maths Reception
I would like you to be able to use the words ;
Autumn
Winter
Spring
Summer
Divide a big piece of paper into 4 or use 4 pages in your book . Write the name of a season at the top of each .Can you draw a picture of something that happens in that season in each box or page ? Where would you draw :
building a snowman ?
playing in a paddling pool ?
playing in fallen leaves ?
looking at new lambs in the fields ?
Maths Nursery
Draw a picture of something you like to do in one of the seasons . Can you talk about the seasons and say the names of the seasons ?
Reception English
Capital letter formation sheet . Try writing the letters in the middle row .
Look at the ng sound in your sound book and practise writing it .
Jelly and Bean book 4 , activity 5 and 6 .
Write a sentence for one of the seasons you drew pictures for in your maths . For example for Summer you might write ;
I go in the pool and splash !

Write a big V in your sound book and draw pictures of some things that start with a V sound . The action is to pretend to hold a steering wheel and say vvvv.
Fun Activity
Go on a hunt to gather some flowers and perhaps some leaves to press . Ask Mummy or Daddy before you pick any ! You might find daisies , buttercups , forget me nots ? You can plan what you will use your flowers for !!
