Class News Friday 9th July

This week in Class One, we have been enjoying watching our caterpillars as they grow in their coccoons. We watched a clip about the life cycle of a Butterfly and talked about each stage and their order. We then made coloured in some butterfly pictures and made our own moving paper-plate life-cycles. The children are all very excited to see them emerge from their chrysalis'.
We have turned our pretend area into a cafe and have made some clay food to serve there . We have written menus and talked out being a waiter or waitress . We have made displays of our work about the book 'The Tiger Who Came For Tea ' and made a class book about Brown Bear .
