Make sure you form each letter correctly and start in the right place .
Reception and Nursery
The Large children had to be very helpful. Can you draw a picture and talk to your grown up about what you can do to be helpful ? You might help to get some logs in for the fire or tidy up your toys ?
Reception might like to write;
I can help.
Remember your finger spaces and sound talk each word to hear the sounds you need to spell them .
Maths Reception and Nursery
Can you talk about squares ? Can you remember how many sides and corners they have ? Can you remember finding any yesterday ?
Today we are exploring circles . Watch this
video . Click on the previous word ' video' to watch .
Go on a shape hunt in your house and outside . Can you find some circles ? Reception might like to record some . Circles do not have any corners or straight sides . Can you use the word 'curved ?'
You could find some objects to use to print some circles . You might find a cork from a wine bottle? or the rim of a yoghurt pot?
You might choose instead to draw around some objects to make a cicle picture?
Reception can colour the circles on the house picture you started to colour yesterday .
Reception, you can practise writing numbers 1, 2 and 3 on your white board . If you are feeling super clever you could see how many numbers you can write !
I hope you all had fun splashing in puddles yesterday ! Perhaps you can make some mud pies today ?
