Here are some pictures and sentences that you have created for the story of Little Red

How was Anna feeling at the end of the Chapter 3? Here are some ideas. I have highlighted the super adjectives and descriptive language used.

Click on the video below to listen to Chapter 4 of Little Red.

I have set some activities for this story in PurpleMash . Login and click on '2Do'.

Y2 - I spotted some exclamation sentences in the story today. Watch the video to find out more.

Look at the pictures from the story below. Can you remember the exclamation sentences that go with each picture? In your Home School book draw a picture of eyes, ears, and paws then under each picture write the exclamation sentence from the story. Remember they all started with 'What' and ended with 'have'.

Now get your highlighter pen and highlight any capital letters and exclamation marks that you used.

 Y1 Maths
What time does this clock say?

The short hour hand is pointing to the number 1 and the long minute is pointing to the top to show o'clock. It must be

1 o'clock.

Can you remember how to write it as a digital clock?   1:00

Now complete page 4 in your Time Practice booklet. Ask an adult to draw and extra line under each clock and have a go at writing the digital time and the words for each clock just like I did above.

Y2 Maths

Year 2
Practice your spellings using the  'Look, Say, Cover, Write, Check' method using your spelling sheets. Remember to use joined up handwriting and think about how it feels to write each word. Sometimes the way the word feels as you write it can help you remember how to spell it.

Log onto WordShark.  I have not set any work on Wordshark so just play the games and you will be practicing the words that the computer has set as your target words to practice.
