A dragon came to school

25 Mar 2022

A dragon came to school!
We have finished reading our class book 'School for Dragons' so we got to write our own story about a dragon who came to Grewelthorpe school. It was fun imagining the disasters that could happen when he set fire to things. We had to think hard about ideas for a happy ending so that the dragon could stay.

Is the Easter story a happy story?
We thought carefully about the story decided that there were happy and sad emotions for nearly all of the events.

Maths
It was a surprise to find out that when you divide 12 into groups of 2 it gives you the same answer as dividing 12 into 2 groups - 6!

How can you safely cross the road?

Then we got to teach our Jigsaw characters.
