Amazing bodies

01 Apr 2022

How is your body amazing?
This half term we have been looking at how to keep our bodies healthy and safe so we decided to think about why. - Because our bodies are amazing! These are some of the things we wrote in our books this week.

My body is amazing because.....

It has bones that helps me to stay upright.
You can walk with your legs.
My heart pumps blood all around my body.
It turns food into energy.
It can fight viruses.
I can run.
When you have a scratch your skin grows back again.

What a lots of good reasons to keep it healthy and safe!

Science
We have been discovering the different properties of materials like smooth, rough, waterproof, rigid, bendy and lots more.

"If it is light then why does it sink?"
What a great question! We will be investigating this next week.

Money
We found out that there are notes and coins. It was fun looking at what was the same and different about them.
