Now complete those capital letters on the Rainbow Capital Letters page in your Handwritng booklet.

You had some brilliant ideas about how the animals in our story could help Farmer Duck. Let's find out what they did. I have started the story from the beginning again so that you can remember all the things poor Farmer Duck had to do.

Can I write a list of jobs for Farmer Duck?

Can you remember any of the things that Farmer Duck had to do?
I would like you to write a list of jobs for Farmer Duck. Write as many as you can in the time that you have and remember that all this week we are working on handwriting.
Here are the things I can remember:

Did you notice how bossy they sounded? Did you spot that I wrote each item on a new line because it is a list?

Things for you to check:
1) All letters should be sitting on the line. (Be careful because some letters have tails that go down below the line but the rest of the letter should be sitting on the line. Letters with curly tails - f,g,j,y. Letters with straight tails - q. Tricky letter p because you have to go below the line at the beginning)
2) Capital letters all start at the top.
3) Y2s all writing is joined up.

Maths All
