Watch the video to find out how to write our next joined up word.

Can I join the letters a and l to write words.
Y1 - Write the word 'all' in your home school book. How many time can you write the word? Remember to leave a finger space between each word. Maybe someone in your family could draw a dotted line in your book to show you where the middle is.
Challenge: Join the letter 'c' before 'all' to write the word 'call'.

Y2 - How many words can you write that have the word 'all' in?

Oi Snake!

Today I want you to think of a page for a book called Oi Snake that has desert animals sitting on silly things that rhyme. Choose one of these desert animals. Think of a word that rhymes then draw a picture and write a sentence for a page in our book.

kangaroo      fennec fox       lizard        snake       meerkat       sandgrouse      kangaroo rat

Challenge: Try including some alliteration and adjectives.

Take a photo of your work and send to me using your private channel in Teams (or email).

What do you call it when the 2 dice have the same number? (Double). Did you roll any doubles? Show a double with your dice. Write it down in your home school book.

Challenge: Can you write down all the doubles you can make with your dice?

Can you say the sounds before I do?

Reading

Quiet reading for 20 mins - you can read to someone else or to yourself.
Y2 - make sure that you click on the link https://ukhosted116.renlearn.co.uk/2245402/  and complete the quiz when you have finished a book.

Computing & Music

Last week we were making patterns to the pulse to play along with the rhyme 'Mrs White had a fright'.
This week I want you to use Purple Mash. In Purple Mash 2Beat  each box is a beat. So if I wanted to make the clap, tap pattern we did last week it would look like this:

I would like you to make a pattern to the pulse using Purple Mash 2Beat . Play it and say the rhyme Mrs White had a fright along with it. Now try singing Lots of Rosy Apples.

Remember that you can have more than one instrument playing at the same time. Try experiment changing the speed of the pulse by moving the purple circle in the scroll bar at the top of the screen.

Can you still say the rhyme/sing along? Which speed is best?

Can you sing/say other songs/rhymes that you know together with your sound pattern.

Make sure you save your work with a sensible name. You could video yourself singing/saying a song/rhyme to your sound pattern and send it to me in your private channel in Teams.
