Class One News Friday 28th May
We have been enjoying reading stories about pirates! We have been digging for treasure in our sand tray and playing Pirates with the 'small world' toys. We dressed up as pirates, made our own treasure maps and hid treasure around the classroom for our friends to find. We talked about the things in the classroom that we could draw onto our maps, to help our friends.
Reception have had a phonics checklist this week and I have made some little flascards to help the chidren learn any sounds they needed a bit of extra practise with .
We tried out our new paint sticks and also enjoyed mixing colours outside .. Reception used their knowledge of phonics to complete the big sounds puzzle.
We have been exploring teen numbers and Nursery have been counting out a given number of objects from a big set .
We hope you all have a lovely half term break !
