Class One Newsletter
Friday 16th April
We have been very pleased to welcome Mrs Jarman as an additional teaching assistant in Class One this week. The children have been enjoying our newly re-vampled outside area. They have loved digging in our gravel pit and tranporting logs in the wheelbarrows. The more open-style play building has proved very popular. This week we have also planted some pansies, to created a cheerful entrance and shall look forward to watching them flower.
Our pretend area inside has become a Vets' surgery and we have enjoyed stories about visiting the vets.
We went 'quackers' in Class One today!!
George and Maggie's Mum kindly brought four fluffy ducklings in today. We made duckling puppets, sang songs about ducks, stroked the ducklings and found out about their life-cycle using a non-fiction book.
Well done Class One for making our new children feel very welcome. We are very proud of you. Have a lovely weekend!
