Class One News Friday 13th November

It has been a busy week in Class One, with Poppy Day and Children in Need activities and a fun end to the week celebrating Heath's Birthday.

Also you can see, we enjoyed creating some beautiful poppy art and learning about the importance of this day.

We began our topic of Traditional Tales this week with the story of Jack And The Beanstalk and we have been dressing up to play in our very own giant's castle. We talked about what our castle should look like and used the internet to give us some ideas, so that we could all join in in decorating it. We have also been talking about how people lived in the times of castles, kings and queens.

At the end of the week, we painted our Diva lamps golden, to make them look really special and enjoyed dancing to some Indian music. We celebrated Heath's fifth Birthday with cakes, balloons, Pass The Parcel and party games (thank you Mrs Lewis!). We are fab in Class One at having a bit of a knees up, so if you have a Birthday coming up in Lockdown and want to have a bit of a do, then let us know! Everyone looked amazing dressed in home clothes, with lots of spots for Children In Need Day!

Have a lovely weekend!
